Our Team

Karen joined Argosy Control Engineering in 1994 and has managed the company ever since. Previously, she held technical and senior management positions in the manufacturing and MOD sectors, gaining experience in research and development, project management, operations and QHSE.

She is a chemist and paint technologist, responsible for the technical aspect of the coatings and their development and improving production, preservation and processes. Karen has direct involvement at all levels of the business and has driven growth and continual improvement while empowering the team.

She is dynamic and highly driven in her quest to provide customers with the best quality and an unrivalled service. Her experience in finance and management continues to facilitate the reshaping of the company’s strategy and develop a culture for continued success and sustainability.

Chris joined Argosy Control Engineering in 2011 and, as General Manager, is responsible for all operations within the company. His knowledge and experience of the engineering and technical aspects of the process facilitates seamless operations.

Chris’s understanding of the coating applications, standards and specifications, along with customer technical requirements, enables our philosophy of “Protective Coatings, Right First Time”.

His hands-on leadership means the team provide unrivalled quality and excellent customer service with no challenge too great. Dynamic and driven, Chris is the primary asset in Argosy Control Engineering’s armoury with the goal of continued customer satisfaction and a sustainable future.

Blair joined Argosy Control Engineering in 2011. As Production Manager, he works steadfastly, with a hands-on approach, leading the production team by example. He is qualified in all processes and his technical and mechanical experience provides critical back-up and greatly enhances our service.

His dedication and drive add value to Argosy Control Engineering and his attention to detail facilitates our drive to provide excellent quality. Blair is a major asset to Argosy with his resilience and determination.

Ally has been part of the Argosy Control Engineering team since 2012. With previous experience within the company in procurement and customer service, Ally held an administrative and logistical role while building quality and technical knowledge of our coating service.

His latest role as Health & Safety Officer is a key part of our commitment to building a safer and sustainable future. He is certified by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and a vital part of the management team.
